Description
Nike Air Force 1 ‘Premium’ – Size 46 (ARCHIVE) is an older premium interpretation of Bruce Kilgore’s legendary basketball silhouette. Style 312945-161 combines the unmistakable Air Force 1 shape with an elevated material execution and classic Nike colour blocking. A true piece from an earlier era of AF1 releases, when premium editions helped turn the silhouette from a basketball staple into one of the defining sneakers of global street culture.
Backstory
The Air Force 1 debuted in 1982 as Nike’s first basketball shoe to feature Nike Air technology. After its original run, demand from Baltimore sneaker stores helped keep the silhouette alive, setting the stage for its eventual return and cultural explosion. By the 2000s, Nike was regularly using Premium editions to experiment with materials, colours and storytelling while retaining the unmistakable AF1 DNA. Style 312945-161 comes from that era, giving it an increasingly interesting place within the enormous Air Force 1 archive.
