Nike is turning video game graphics into sneakers you can actually wear. The .SWOOSH Air Max 1 Low Poly series rebuilds the most legendary Air Max silhouette with the angular, unfinished look of early 3D games, and every release hides a different piece of gaming history. From Lara Croft to Donkey Kong to GoldenEye 007: this is the pack where sneaker culture and retro gaming collide. At The Attic we have all four releases in stock, checked and verified as always.
What is Nike .SWOOSH?
.SWOOSH started in 2022 as Nike's digital platform, the place where the brand experiments with virtual sneakers, gaming and community driven design. The Low Poly series was born in Max's Lab, the .SWOOSH design space where digital concepts become physical product. The first pair was revealed in late 2024 together with streamer Kai Cenat and sold as a members only preorder. Since then, every new colorway has turned into an event, complete with online quests, puzzle drops and even a digital debut in Fortnite.
The Low Poly look
Low poly refers to the early days of 3D gaming, when consoles could only render characters and worlds with a limited number of polygons. Everything looked angular, faceted and slightly rough around the edges. Nike translated that visual language into jagged panels, pixelated Swooshes and screen printed textures on the Air Max 1. Instead of hiding the construction, these shoes celebrate it. Even the details play along, with ESRB style labels on the tongues, cheat codes on the insoles and boxes that look like vintage game cartridges.
Nike Air Max 1 'Low Poly' (HQ5882-100)
The one that started it all. The original 'Low Poly' launched in October 2024 as a .SWOOSH members preorder and takes the classic 1987 Air Max 1 colorway of White, University Red and Neutral Grey, then rebuilds it with angular panels and a pixelated finish. It reads as the OG Air Max 1 with the polygon count turned down, which makes it the perfect entry point into the series.
Nike Air Max 1 .SWOOSH Low Poly 'Adventure' (HV1940-100)
The 'Adventure' is the Tomb Raider chapter. The Cannon green mudguard and Swoosh mirror Lara Croft's iconic tank top, the gum sole nods to her cargo shorts, and the grey and white upper carries the pixelated print of the series. The best easter egg sits on the insole: F0rW4rD B4CK L3F7 3 7IM35, B4CKW4rD5 JUMP. That is the cheat code from the original 1996 Tomb Raider on PC that unlocks every weapon in the game. Nike released this pair in February 2025 through a .SWOOSH quest where fans had to solve three puzzles for access.

Nike Air Max 1 .SWOOSH Low Poly 'Big Head Origins' (HV5776-200)
The 'Big Head Origins' is pure Donkey Kong. Hairy brown suede overlays mimic the ape's fur, while the red and yellow accents reference his signature tie. The insoles carry a banana peel graphic and a collectible style coin, the Nike Air badge on the heel is shaped like a coin, and the box comes in a bold yellow that recalls vintage game cartridges. Released on Air Max Day, March 26, 2025 in the US with Europe following in April, this is the loudest storyteller of the pack and the pair collectors chase hardest.

Nike Air Max 1 .SWOOSH Low Poly 'Big Head Mode' (IB9898-001)
The 'Big Head Mode' salutes GoldenEye 007, the 1997 Nintendo 64 shooter that defined multiplayer gaming for a generation. The Dark Smoke Grey and White base channels Bond's tuxedo, the Metallic Gold accents reference the infamous Golden Gun, and the boxy Swoosh outline keeps the pixel theme alive. The name refers to the beloved cheat that blew up characters' heads on screen. Before the physical release in April 2025, the design even debuted digitally in Fortnite.
