Backstory
Originally introduced in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 revolutionised basketball footwear as the first basketball shoe to feature Nike Air cushioning. Over the decades, the silhouette evolved into a cultural icon worn far beyond the court. The Air Force 1 Sage was introduced as part of Nike’s effort to modernise the classic design through elevated proportions, cleaner lines and subtle refinements. The ‘Sage’ edition preserves the timeless DNA of the Air Force 1 while adapting it to contemporary fashion.
